Amusia!

Amusia is a musical disorder that appears mainly as a defect in processing pitch but also encompasses musical memory and recognition.[1] Two main classifications of amusia exist: acquired amusia, which occurs as a result of brain damage, and congenital amusia, which results from a music-processing anomaly present since birth.

I think I have acquired amusia now! Well I thought I had gone out of tune since the accident now I just know there is a name for it!! Cause I used to be quite a good singer and hold a tune quite well and I’m not just lying to make up a story cause I was the lead part in my ps musical and also sang at my piano teachers wedding at about 16 but now I can hold no tune at all! I feel like I’ve lost a piece of me! A piece I took for granted. So lucky that no one has asked me to sing at their wedding next year! (And I’m warning you now if you were thinking of asking me – DONT!)
