At least my memory was excellent prior this mess I’m in now.
When I was about 11/12 and had moved to ‘big school’ after doing the transfer test (which I had luckily got a b1 in and I had got in to my school of choice Wellington College which was a brilliant school I should add for anyone thinking of schools in S.E Belfast!)
Back to why I’m telling you the story! When I had moved to big. school it became clear to the teachers that I was dyslexic and received extra English and the teachers told my parents it had likely gone unnoticed cause I had a good memory and was able to memorize my spelling and recognize words. Well that good memory has come in quite useful! When I first woke up and communicated to mum about having ‘No voice’ I also told mum not to worry I’d ring her later and quoted her number to her! My memory may be a little patchy now but at least it started off in a good place and is improving! But it just gets me more worked up thinking about memory and the year I’ve lost (if you haven’t read it find out more in a previous blog post.) My memory mustn’t be that bad! I remembered I had done a blog on memory before! Getting better π
