I might have told this story before but it’s a good one.
It was a Friday night and I was just out for the evening, nothing special. I was 19 so a baby adult. I wasn’t out on the ‘pull’ to get someone or anything it was just good luck.
What happened was James was there too but at this stage we didn’t know each other. I went up to the bar in laverys to get myself a drink, he was there too. My drink I had ordered was set in front of me and when I was just ready to depart the bar and head back to the table James turned around and knocked over my drink on me! Luckily for me he was a looker! He apologized and offered to buy me another one but he was so attractive so another drink wouldn’t have been enough for me! So smooth head Rebekah said something like ‘ don’t worry about buying me another drink how about taking me out on a date?’
And the rest is history!
That was us together the following year!
