This is my synopsis for them.
“Broken” Brain
This piece is to project brain injury. The head looks “normal” it’s not disfigured at all. Like a lot of brain injuries. People cannot see a brain injury. Just the individual feels what it’s like. From my experience I don’t feel much different but I can be much more ‘touchy’ about things and much more angry which I say is displayed through the red and orange, going down to the yellow showing the gratitude and gratefulness for all the little things. And the pink because I sometimes feel proud of being a stronger young woman than I thought dealing with this turmoil. But I think the painting shows we aren’t ‘broken’ because the head looks perfect on the outside.
I don’t claim to know everyone’s emotions but that’s just a brief explanation of some of the ways I feel.
