My own company

That’s what I’m craving.

It’s strange cause when we hit around the teenage mark I guess and from then on in your given are ‘our own company’ or being independent.

This brain injury situation means I’ve regressed back into being like 10 and not being left on my own. I know it’s cause my body is no longer able to do the most basic and natural things like walk and balance.

Its just not nice when you had total independence for over half your life and it’s all unexpectedly snatch from you.

And you’re put in this waiting game were you don’t know how much you’ll win back. It’s not even like a PlayStation game or something where you are guaranteed if you do certain moves you’ll win, it’s like I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to ‘earn’ or ‘win’ my own company.
