This exact from Abby Maslin book. It made me feel so lucky. I need to bare this in mind though I detest my lack of physical ability and independence, this book and how she describes her husband’s confusion with speech and written word really REALLY makes me feel so fortunate. Words are my release, my escape.
I would be even more trapped in this dungeon without them.
