Acorn to an oak tree

I loved this expression! ❤️

My godmother replied after seeing my last blog and she said:

It takes a long time for an acorn to become an oak tree 🌳 ❤️

I thought that was a lovely way to look at it.

Yes it may take me years to get to a stage in recovery I’m happy with, but even then, like a tree it won’t stop developing, yes over years it may get so slower and it’s not as visible but it won’t just stop. I’m on the recovery train for the long run.
