Today is my 30th!
I’m so lucky to reach this mark of life. I’m DELIGHTED I’m 30 and getting older. My mum and I were talking yesterday and she was saying how happy she is I’ve reached this mile stone! Starting a new decade of life!
When I first had my accident (which was the reason I have this brain injury and keep this blog) the doctors told my parents the first 24 hours after my accident were crucial… and here we are 5 years and 5 months later and still moving up in the recovery world, improving continuously and continuing life as ‘Rebekah’. So grateful for that!
And let anyone struggling with brain injury or any other brain problems or just life in general. Hold on. Keep going. The world is so much brighter with you in it! 💜
