Saw this on @dermotkennedy Instagram reel today and felt like it was really strong words. Pain of discipline or pain of regret. Ive had to go through some emotional pain and darkness to discipline myself and not have the pain of regret in recovery. I am in my brain injury recovery. There is going to be some pain, but rather pain of discipline for a relatively short time than pain of regret for the rest of my days 🤷🏻♀️
