I thought this was a very nice description. Sophie (my friend who is an ot who I usually blog about on a Friday!) we had a chat, I thought interesting about brain injury, how it was like taking the scenic route were as life normally being like driving on the motorway.
Normally we ‘rush’ through things, not taking our time to register all the details and just getting things done is the main priority!
Taking the motorway, the quickest way to where we want to go!
Brain injury makes people take the ‘scenic route’, taking their time to do things the right way for them, (maybe getting lost!), but hopefully ending up in the desired destination eventually!
